3 Ingredient Butter Cookies
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter softened and slightly melted
1 cup powdered sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350F
Line 2 cookie sheets with silicone mat or parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, add butter and sugar.
Cream at highest mixer speed for about 5 minutes or until light and fluffy.
The mixture should resemble whipped cream. If using a stand mixer be sure to scrape the sides now and then. The wire whisk attachment works best.
Add flour and mix in at low speed.
Using a large open star tip at least a 1/2 inch opening, pipe swirls 1 inch apart.
Chill cookies for 30 minutes in fridge to prevent over spreading when baking.
Place on middle oven rack and bake for 15-20 min, or until the edges turn a light brown.
Let cookies cool on cookies sheet before removing.
Store in airtight container.
