Hello there. How have you been?
:)
Yes. There is a WYSIWYG editor for creating and editing posts, signatures, forum start page right content, and forum messages, such as for a private forum to show a message page to nonmembers attempting access, and if you want to type in your own html for any of these items, just click the little blue html button.
Yes. You can have a style placed in the system's styles folder for your forum. However, at this time, Beehive doesn't have forum style exclusivity. This means any forum on this system will be able to use it. You can however create a custom style sheet for your forum's start page right and upload it. This start page css sheet will be used only by your forum.
What kind of traffic your forum gets is not controlled by the site or me. I provide the hosting for the system as a whole, try to keep things running as smoothly as possible, and pay the bills. The system provides forums, auto generated chat rooms for public forums, and a private chat room for each member. Bringing in members for your forum is up to you.
If you'd like a private forum with an auto generated chat room, like a public forum, I suggest making your forum public but making all folders private, then using groups to control who sees what in you forum. This method works well. I use it myself. Anyone not in a group with access will see the forum start page right, and on the left a message telling them there are no folders, because the folders are hidden from them.
However, the chat room created for this type of forum is public access. So, if someone enters you don't want in there, short of a system admin, you'll have to toss and/or ban them. There is a list of chat commands on this board.
Does this help any Hon?
