Welcome to Deanna's Digs!
In case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm Deanna. :)
I was a stay at home Mommy, and now I'm a Grandma searching for work outside the house for the first time in 30 years. I'm a pretty easy going old soul for the most part. I've had a number of web ventures over the years. I'm fluent in typonese and have a liking for hunting lag imps and demons in chats. Annoying little buggers. Aren't they?
I'm also a writer, crafter, role player, and avid World of Warcraft lover. How can anyone not love a game where you get to travel, meet interesting monsters, kill them, and get gold for it?
This isn't all I am. It's just a little bit about me so you know what kind of person you're dealing with in this place. :)
Now for some basic rules of behavior for this forum.
1. Treat everyone with respect. This is a drama free zone.
2. No flaming, fighting, no content from or links to pornographic sites.
3. Threatening, stalking, or harassing of anyone is an automatic ban.
4. This isn't a conversion zone, religious or otherwise, nor a dating site.
5. Anything you post must be your own or you must have permission to use it.
i think that should do it for now. Hopefully I won't need to do edits or additions in the future.
Now I'm going to do some posts to help lead a few people I know to this place. :)
Update 12.4.19: I've been working in telecommunications as of 5.22.17 and I love it. I was hired part time and on-call at our local hospital, which as much as I get called is turning out to be more full time / over time than part time. I also have a second job at the hospital sitting with patients who need someone close, such as a patient who is a fall risk or may have something like senility, dementia, or alzheimers. Needless to say, in my second job I deal with a lot of elderly. My second job is an As-needed, so I can go for weeks without being called for it, but what work in communications keeps plenty busy. If you don't see me around, it just means I'm working like a fiend and too tired to do anything else, but please do continue to visit the forums and chats and have fun together. :)
Hi there Hon,
Just helping you find the place.

Hi, Deanna, doing fine. Didn't notice a message notification anywhere but noticed the forum link and followed it over. Take care and see you soon.
Glad to see you found the place, and glad you're doing good. If you can, can you see if you can help some others find their way too?
I'm going to put my every day type of stuff here and the other things will go to Blackmoore Manor, like the RP side of things.
You didn't get a notice? You might need to check your personal settings in My Controls for messages in the Privacy & Email settings. When I copied over the registrations, it may not have grabbed personal settings and such. I think they're in a separate part of the database, another table.
Once I've got everything sorted, I'm closing down the other site. It's just too much anymore for me to run around so much. Especially since I'm the only real site staff left. I'd like to find people like Mark and Mary from GoJabber, and see if they'd pitch in a little. People familiar with Beehive and Ajax and could help others with their use. I love them, but I've been poking at them for quite a while now. lol
Our biggest issue seems to be people not knowing how to use the system, or just being afraid of it. I don't know why trying something new gets to some people so much. It's not like DF didn't have it's bugs, and probably still does at times.
Beside, I think life is an adventure, on and offline, we should try to live it. :)
What have you been up to these days?
Welcome to Deanna's Digs Blooddraken!
I hope you enjoy your time here.
If you need any help with anything, just give a holler. :)
...the same BloodDraken from Delphi? :D
Yup yup. How ya doin hun?
Oh, I can't complain. :) I haven't seen much of you since our last try at RPing. LOL How are you?
I'm not bad. Been real busy with rl stuff. Haven't had much time for roleplaying these days. But things are starting to slow down again. So we'll see.
I get it. I don't have nearly as much time as I used to to get online either. Thank you teenage years. Bleh! Anyhow, I hope to see you around here now and again. This place is awesome! Take care of yourself.
