Welcome

I'm learning I can't always reply to or even read some messages.  I saw a PM the other day but I can't return to it, nor was I able to reply to it at the time.  Might be a problem with the browser.

At any rate, I'm ill-equipped to be a forum officer.  I'll still drop by, but I'm not going to be very useful.

All the best...see you around.

Awe! I'm so sorry about the loss of your fur-baby, D. :( I can't believe I didn't see this post sooner.

I'll look into it when I get a few. It sounds like a permissions issue. I may be able to just do a reset. If I do, you'll need dump your cache and cookies for this site to get a refreshed set up. There is a link on the login page that should do it for you.

I hear you on the not being around much. My schedule is murder on my free time these days, and it's about to get worse. One of the ladies I work with will be out recovering from surgery, and I'll be covering her shifts while she's out.

You take care Hon. :)

Thanks.

I try to take some comfort in that he's not suffering anymore and I hope he's in a better place.

Haven't you ever seen "A Dog's Purpose"? :) He'll come back to you in one form or another.

I've seen it. I have it on my DVD to buy list.

It would be nice. He was a good little dog.

*Squench* I know how you feel, believe me. One of our fur-babies is on her last leg. Hell, we've reduced to keeping her high on CBD oil to fight her pain. I don't want her to suffer, but she'll let me know when it's time.

We're thinking we might see about getting a new baby for xmas. I'm looking into another rescue. I'm missing Chewy, but we can still give another doggy a good home, and still love him. I think he'd like knowing we didn't make him our last barky puppy dog.

Awe, I think that's a wonderful idea! Lots of animals need good homes, especially during the holidays. :)

Hi there!

Welcome to my little hole in cyberspace!

Feel free to look wander around, explore, and join in at your leisure.

Be sure to check out the site's features list. We also have a forum for promotions for forums, chats, and events their owners may have here.

There is also a styles forum if you'd like to get a look at the styles available here without having to go through each and every style to find something you'd like to use for your person view settings, which can be set system wide or by individual forum.

I used to roam Delphi, till they torqued me off, as DarkPoet of Clan Drakulya. I think we may have met. :)

Yikes!  You caught me trying to sneak in.  8-O

Its good to see you again.  Its been years since I did anything on Delphi but I've been reconnecting with old friends lately.  Now I want to start writing again.

You know you failed miserably on that sneaky thing. lol

There are a number of places here where a person can do writing. In Literary Lounge you can actually get two folders for your personal work. One public for general audience works and one restricted for works not suitable for all ages.

If you'd like a forum for your own personal space and projects, you can always get that too. There is a folder in the BeehiveForums.US Site Information Forum for forum requests with information on how to request a forum.

If you make your forum public the system automatically creates a chat room for it. I make mine public, then if I want anything restricted I restrict the folders and create groups I can add people to for access to what I want them to see. Works pretty nice for me, and helps keep human spammers at bay. :)

I'm not usually around as much as I'd like to be, but I do still provide the real estate and tools. The building of their community is up to the forum owner and their staff.

I also provide other services on request. Such as member webpage space, forum webpage space, and image storage on another site I own using piwigo with a plug in installed that allows for cut and paste of image urls for linking them to other places for display.

I'm also always on the lookout for volunteers familiar with Beehive Forum software and Ajax Chat. People who can keep their emotions under wraps and not take things personally when representing the site, such as in a mod or main staff position.

This place is my answer to places like Delphi and their 'Give me money or get treated like crap.' attitude.

We're donation and ad supported, mostly donations. I try to keep most ads out of the forums and chats.

Yeah.  I know.  I've gotten old.  The nice lady (MtnRose) that led me here has a nice forum for that.  I don't think I could run my own forum.  Not right now anyway.  Thank you for the info and encouragement though.
