The realms have a number of NPCs, Non Player Characters, set up in different areas. Any player can make use of these NPCs, but you cannot use them contrary to their character or take them outside of their area.

An example would be Zia of Zia's Inn. She never leaves the inn property. So you wouldn't find her walking the markets in Camira City or fighting monsters in the Ruins of Og.

Another example would be that a kindly old gent wouldn't be likely to break into a farmer's house and kill the family living within it. He would be far more likely to tell the children stories of fanciful things while sitting on a hill.

If you want to use an NPC, be sure to read it's bio. It will tell you what you need to know about them so you can use them properly.
